Hey, I was curious how you made it into the JET Programme, and what it took. How long did it take? How difficult was it? What age are you, and what is the average age to get in? What is life in Japan like overall? How much does it cost? Sorry, I know that's a lot to ask. I'm interested in doing it, but the JET website doesn't give all of the information I need.
I made it into JET by sending my application and doing well in the interview. The whole process went from Nov-March, I think. I have no idea what the average age is, but you can't be older than 35, I think. So lots of 22-30ish people.
Life in Japan depends on where you are at, as does cost. I live in a small village on a small, poor island.
If you are interested in travel and have never lived abroad but want to, I recommend it. Just throw yourself in and see where it takes you.
